Our huge collection of excavated Purple-Sand clay teapots or Zisha Hus as the Chinese prefer to call them, comes with ah huge treasure trove of archaeological records which this website is based on, the purpose of which is to provide valuable benchmarks for effective and conclusive study and research which until now are impossible due to a dearth of archaeologically excavated Purple-Sand clays teapots.
The situation is exacerbated by the fact that science cannot provide a solution for the exact dating of Old Purple-Sand clay teapot and as such any Old Purple-Sand clay teapot study without documented development or recorded archaeological excavations, retrospection will be an exercise in guess works.
