Today we are going to talk about a 100% genuine Pre-Daoguang Yixing teapot that was sold in a mainland China auction.
Congratulation to XILENGYINSHE Auction Company in its successful auction of a genuine Early Qing Yixing teapot which was sold for RMB632,000. And you are wrong if you think we are talking about the price of the Pot. No, no, no we are not talking about the price of the Pot sold but the precious and very educational archaeological material and records we kept about the Pot. According to our inventory and archaeological database, the Pot that was sold in the XILENGYINSHE auction was Ren Fu Collection’s Pot No:154 which we sold in the year 2012 to a Chao Zhou Shanghai man named Seow who bought 23 Pre-Daoguang Pots and a big burner from Ren Fu Collection.
- Pot No:154 belonged to a woman whose husband owned Pot No:151.
- Pot No: 154 and Pot No:151 have more or less the same value or status in those days of Early Qian Long
- We have the gravestone epitaph that described the husband’s name, origin, status, Year of Death, the number of wives, names of sons and daughters and grandchildren.
- The origin of the couple and the Gong Fu tea set of tea leaves, teapots and tea wares are part of the overwhelming archaeological proofs which indicated who started Gong Fu Tea.
- Both the husband and wife practiced Gong Fu tea.
- We even know what kind of tea the husband and the wife like to drink.
- The Old Famous Potter Chen Ruo Si made the wife’s Pot and the gravestone epitaph gave clues or proof to the Pot’s or Potter’s Niande.

Now before we go back to our original story or this posting, there is a record of the person who bought Ren Fu Collection Pot No:154 whom you might want to know and whom you might find disturbing to read about. According to our records the person who bought our Pot No:154 also bought 22 other Pots and a big burner. He is a Chao Zhou Shanghai man(see picture) named Seow who we later found out to be an organized fraudster because he made us an offer we cannot refused which is to be part of an organized frauds group with six shops in Shanghai selling Fake Pots in which the plan was to use Ren Fu Collection’s Pots to teach people but mixed with their Fake Pots to sell. When we refused, this Chao Zhou man threatened us with violence saying that if we step into mainland China we would be beaten up, he went on-line telling everyone Ren Fu Collection’s Pots are cheap, worthless Pots and when he found out Ren Fu Collection has thousands of Pots, he went mad and crazy knowing that he could have bought 30 more Pots and be very wealthy. We did not know why this man was angry with us instead of thanking us for making him rich.
Ren Fu Collection’s comment: Why does this man who makes millions of Renmimbis out of us is so black-hearted, cruel and evil? Instead of thanking us for letting him make millions of Renmimbis out of our Pots, this man wants to beat us up and do harm to us and so greedy that he wanted to use our Pots to cheat people for a living.
Conclusion: The Zisha Hu eco-system, unlike other Art forms, is very bizarre and the organized fraudsters are very cruel, bad-hearted and evil people and Ren Fu Collection must be prepared to deal with them effectively.
