FOREWORD

A few years ago some people advised us to let Huang Qian Liang write Ren Fu Collection’s books and archaeological stories because Huang Qian Liang can write a big story for Ren Fu Collection’s Pots and make Ren Fu Collection’s Pots worth a lot of money. We initially wanted to let Huang Qian Liang write for Ren Fu Collection but after Tony Ren’s three years of fact-findings in Taiwan which we discovered Huang Qian Liang’s heavy involvement with Fake Zisha Hus and organized fraudsters like Peng QingFu and Liu Chuan Sin, we changed our mind to let Tsai Ker Sin write which we found out later that Tsai Ker Sin with Hu WangRu are also another group of organized fraudsters out to swindle Ren Fu Collection, so we have no choice but to leave Taiwan quickly because Taiwan seems to be saddled with fraudsters and Tony Ren’s three years study of Old Zisha Hus turned out shockingly into a discovery and fact-findings of the Taiwanese Zisha Hu underworld who controlled not only Taiwanese Zisha Hu eco-system but also the influence was spreading to mainland China and the Nanyang.

Now, you good and honest people tell us: how can we let Huang Qian Liang who is a leader of a organized frauds group and who frequently write Fake stories about Fake Pots or any other dishonest, corrupted Taiwanese scholars, write Ren Fu Collection’s books?

We will tell you what will happen if Ren Fu Collection allows these dishonest, corrupted and fraudulent Taiwanese scholars to write Ren Fu Collection’s books and stories: Ren Fu Collection is a famous name for honesty, truth and genuine excavated Zisha teapots and tea wares with archaeological records. So if we let Huang Qian Liang or any other dishonest, corrupted and fraudulent Taiwanese scholar writes Ren Fu Collection’s books and stories, then Ren Fu Collection is implying that Huang Qian Liang or the other Taiwanese scholars is telling  and writing the truth and who never write Fake stories for Fake Pots which makes Huang Qian Liang or the other dishonest Taiwanese scholars an honest and truthful scholar(which they are not) and which in turn makes all Huang Qian Liang’s Fake stories and Fake Pots become truthful stories and genuine Old Pots. It is like bestowing upon the dishonest, corrupted and fraudulent Taiwanese writer Ren Fu Collection’s hard won trust and goodwill of the people. It will mean Ren Fu Collection is helping Taiwanese organized fraudsters to destroy Old Zisha Hu instead of saving Old Zisha Hu. So Ladies and Gentlemen, you would agree that until we find a good, honest and uncorrupted writer( or spokesperson who is Chinese-literate), you are lumbered with Tony Ren who cannot write in beautiful, flowery Chinese like Huang Qian Liang can(who confuses and deceives people). Tony Ren cannot write beautiful, flowery Chinese verses but he can honestly, truthfully and powerfully conveys the archaeological stories of the excavated Pots that you need to know and just as important fight like a powerful Dragon against the thousands of organized fraudsters and small-time fraudsters to save Old Zisha Hu.

1) 前言;

2) 出土的真品陈鸣远壶颂;

3) 颂假陈鸣远壶;

ODE TO AN EXCAVATED REAL CHEN MING YUAN POT

If someone excavated one grave and then says he has found a real Chen Ming Yuan Pot, you would think he is mad or lying; if a few people excavated one hundred graves and then say they have found a real Chen Ming Yuan Pot, you would think it is possible but not likely but if a big group of people excavated one thousand graves and then they say they have found a real Chen Ming Yuan Pot, you would think it is very possible and highly likely.

ODE TO A FAKE CHEN MING YUAN POT

If a museum says it has the only Fake Chen Ming Yuan Pot in the world, you would think it is possible; if a few museums say they have ten Chen Ming Yuan Pots, you would think it is very unlikely  but if a few museums say they have together hundreds of Chen Ming Yuan Pots, then you would immediately say it is crazy and impossible.

(Note: Not every excavated grave had a Zisha Pot and about 30% of excavated graves were empty graves with nothing except miniature funeral tea wares or other cheap artefacts or cultural relics usually belonging to poor Chinese).

The next part of the story brings us back to the moment Pot No:249 and Pot No:248 were discovered in a double excavations of a husband and wife graves which, luck has it that, we not only stumbled upon the highly likely real Chen Ming Yuan Pot but also discovered within the wife’s grave, that was inside the coffin and on top of the coffin, one of the earliest archaeological proofs  that Fujian people started or if you like created the Gong Fu Tea culture and not the Chao Zhou people as believed by Guangdong people. In fact most of the original owners of excavated  Meng Chen Zhuni Pots found with Gong Fu tea wares were Fujian people and the Chao Zhou Gong Fu Tea Culture only started in Daoguang when Chao Zhou Zhuni Pots(also called Santoh Zhuni Pots) became very popular in Chao Zhou or Chaoshan as evident from our excavated  Daoguang Gong Fu tea wares containing Chao Zhou Zhuni Hus belonging to mostly Chao Zhou or Guangdong people. This archaeological discovery is another example of many history-changing or monumental discoveries found in Ren Fu Collection’s thousands of excavations.

That is why we keep saying time is on Ren Fu Collection’s side because you do not know how many awesome discoveries lies hidden in Ren Fu Collection’s huge treasure trove of archaeological materials and records which are only found out as our archaeological stories are told. Yes, in “time is on Ren Fu Collection’s side” we do not mean we will win and destroy organized frauds, Fake Pots and Fake stories, it also mean Ren Fu Collection will transform the chaotic, dishonest, corrupted and fraudulent Old Zisha Hu eco-system into a healthy, trusted and respected eco-system where it is respected like other normal Works of Art and not despised and condemned by Arts critics universally as chaotic and full of Fake Pots and Fake facts.

THE DISCOVERY OF SMALL ROUCHEN GAIWAN?…………………………………………………………

According to experts, Rouchen teacups appeared during Kangxi reign. Yes, we agree because according to Ren Fu Collection’s excavated tea, teapots and tea wares with archaeological materials and records, it was during Kangxi that Rouchen teacups appeared and could the Rouchen teacups take several forms instead of just teacups with the inscriptions Rouchen on the base of the teacups? (Ren Fu Collection has many Early Kangxi Rouchen teacups in the 2nd and 3rd One Thousand Pots).We asked that question because a lot, a lot of wealthy and Guangren’s graves and tombs contained beautiful, exquisite teacups with Emperor’s reign mark on the bottom of the cups instead of the words Rouchen. And exactly like Rouchen teacups and sometimes even better, these teacups with reign-marks are small, fine milk-white texture and finely made. In fact in the best or most opulent graves or tombs we found exquisite teacups with Emperor’s reign mark but teacups with the inscription Rouchen were found in average or moderately wealthy graves. Why is that, we asked you, a teacup with the Emperor’s reign mark found in graves/tombs belonging to the highest hierarchy in society and not Rouchen teacups? We ask two more questions: Could these Emperor reign marked teacups and Rouchen teacups be of the same quality and make but with different wordings on the base of the cup? And could Rouchen be just a brand name for quality and status symbol but the teacups with the Emperor reign marks be the same quality and make as Rouchen teacups but with more prestige and power?……which brings us to another interesting but altogether different teacups called small Gaiwans or Gaipei. It has come to our attention while organizing the warehouse full of thousands of teacups and other artefacts that we found unusual small Gaiwans or Gaipei which look like Rouchen teacups with lid which, unlike the usual big Gaiwan that is the size of a bowl, the small Gaiwans have the quality and texture like Rouchen teacups or teacups with Emperor reign marks. And when we let tea experts friends make tea in the same small  Meng Chen Zhuni Pot but drank in the Rouchen teacups, teacups with Emperor reign mark and small Gaiwan or Gaipei, they all said the same thing that the tea taste the best in all three types of teacups which means the three tea drinking vessels give the same result.Could tea drinkers in Pre-Daoguang know things we don’t? This might be something for the tea experts or connoisseurs to think about in the future.

HOW THE POT NO:249(and Pot No:248) WERE FOUND INCLUDING WHO FOUNDED GONG FU TEA?…………………………………………..

To quote the late legendary marine archaeologist and treasure hunter, Sten Sjostrand, who said in his book “ The Wanli Shipwreck”: In almost every case, shipwreck cargoes have upset past scholarship” which means that some of what scholars have written are proven by shipwreck cargoes to be wrong and needed correction. And needless to say, it also applies to Ren Fu Collection’s archaeological discoveries which prove a lot, a lot or what the scholars have written are wrong and needed correcting.

According to archaeological materials and records kept by Ren Fu Collection, PotNo:248 was excavated first before Pot No:249 which we later found out to be the earliest Chen Ming Yuan Zisha Hu excavated in the world.

But like we said before Ren Fu Collection’s thousands of excavated teapots and tea wares with archaeological records, like a huge trawler net catching fishes in the sea, contain a lot, a lot of discoveries-some known, some new and unknown and some history-changing  so much so anyone expose to so huge an amount of precious treasure trove of rare archaeological materials, data and discoveries, the person automatically becomes a true expert in Old Zisha Hu. This is like living in another world or another eco-system of Zisha Hu where everything is true, genuine, authentic with exact-dating and true history just like other normal, honest Works of Art and more where we take you back in time to the Pre-Daoguang original owners. This huge untapped knowledge and experience from Ren Fu Collection’s huge archaeological treasure trove, we will share with you good, honest people the aim of which is to save Old Zisha Hu, by pushing in true, honest knowledge and pushing out Fake knowledge, fake facts and fake stories, created by organized fraudsters, into the dustbin of history.

Right, going back to the excavation story, the smaller-than-usual but very elegant and intact tomb from which Pot No:248 was found in had a tombstone epitaph dating the death of the owner to the 28th Year of Kangxi Reign. Finding Pot No:249, unlike finding Pot No:248 which was easy, was more difficult because of the disintegrated and collapsed grave indicating the owner died much earlier than the person in the tomb next to it. We believed these tomb and grave were a husband and wife burial site.( Tombs are built of stone above or under ground but graves are made of earth’. Most of husband and wife graves were housed together in one big grave or one big burial mound but sometimes the husband and wife graves were located separately next to one another: husband on the right and wife on the left side. Ren Fu Collection’s archaeological records say Pot No:249 was excavated and found with the Pot were a pair of small teacups with lids, a clay cauldron, a burner, a water boiler, two Kangxi coins, broken bowls and oyster shells.( it was noted that we lost the coins, broken bowls and oyster shells which probably got mixed up in the huge warehouse of excavated teapots, tea wares and other cultural relics and lately noted that we have found the oyster shells). The broken bowls or shards and oyster shells were found in the top soil which was above the coffin indicating the deceased owner’s love for oysters when she was alive.

Excavation of the grave containing Pot No:249 confirmed the general claim by most experts that Chen Ming Yuan was an Early Kangxi Potter and that Pot No:249 could very likely be one of the earliest Pots made by Chen Ming Yuan.

How we calculate Pot No:249’s age or Niande went like this: we know Pot No:249 belonged to the wife of a man whose name was Zheng Sheng Zu in whose tomb we found Pot No:248. The husband who originated from Longxi, Zhangzhou, Fujian, China died  on the 28th Year Reign of Emperor Kangxi as stated on the tombstone epitaph(see classified picture of partial tombstone epitaph for archaeological proof) and so based on our huge experience and knowledge of Pre-Daoguang tombs and graves, we estimated the wife should have passed away at least in Kangxi 22nd Year Reign or earlier. Furthermore the Pot No:249 looks used indicating Pot No:249 was made many years earlier and transported overseas to Nanyang, all in all using the Law of Averages in Mathematics it tells us the Pot No:249 could likely be made before the 16th Year of Kangxi’s Reign which is extremely early meaning that Pot No:249 could be made by a very young Chen Ming Yuan. But that’s not all because we also made a monumental or paradigm changing discovery in the oyster shells which were usually found in Pre-Daoguang Fujian people’s graves and tombs especially those of Early Qing. How we archaeologically prove who started Gong Fu tea culture is the same as how we archaeologically prove the Pot No:249 is a real Chen Ming Yuan: yes, through knowing their earliest existence. Pot No:249 is the earliest Chen Ming Yuan known to exist and the woman owner of the Early Kangxi Pot No:249 was Fujian including the fact that most of Ren Fu Collection’s excavated Early Qing Gong Fu tea wares especially those of  Kangxi reign belonged to Fujian people going by their place of origin as stated on the gravestone/tombstone epitaphs. Furthermore most Gong Fu tea wares with Meng Chen Zhuni Hu were found in Early Qing Fujian graves/tombs. Until today Meng Chen Zhuni Pot is a must in Fujian or Taiwanese Gong Fu tea and until today Fujian people and Taiwanese love their unique cultural food the oysters in the forms of oyster soups or fried oysters which are known as Fujian creations. That is how we know the woman who owned Pot No:249 was Fujian and her Gong Fu tea wares of Zisha Pot, teacups, burner and water boiler is the earliest set of Gong Fu tea wares excavated with archaeological records in the world. Chao Zhou people obviously from Ren Fu Collection’s huge archaeological materials, records and discoveries did not start Gong Fu tea culture but Chao Zhou people did promote in a big way their own version of Gong Fu tea using Santoh Zhuni Hus or if you prefer Chao Zhou Zhuni Pots. It was the Fujian people whom Ren Fu Collection has overwhelming archaeological proofs started Gong Fu tea and also Daoguang was the period that saw the meteoric rise of Santoh Zhuni Hu as evident in Ren Fu Collection’s huge collection of excavated Pre-Daoguang Santoh Zhuni Hus which were mostly found in Guangdong people’s graves/tombs(Chao Zhou is part of Guangdong). Chao Zhou or Fujian people notwithstanding, the most important thing is Gong Fu Tea culture started in China and we Chinese everywhere are very proud of the fact…….yes, of course thanks to the foresight of the boss of Ren Fu Collection that today we can solve a big  Gong Fu Tea mystery easily. And before we go into the next part Ren Fu Collection who is well-known for truth and honesty, do not think our other top grade Early Qing Chen Ming Yuan Pots are genuine Chen Ming Yuan Pots, we believe the Pots are Chen Ming Yuan copies, that is, exquisite Pots like Pot No’s:571 and 603 among others.

A short note or explanation of the method we use to calculate accurately whether a Pot is a real Old Famous Potters or Old Master Potters which we called the TIME LAPSE BETWEEN UNKNOWN TO FAME. This is a very effective method to authenticate an Old Pot to find out whether it’s a real Old Master Potters/or Old Famous Potters or if you like a way of sifting out Old copies from authentic Pots. This method is based on the fact that an Old Master Potter or Old Famous Potter started making Pots when he/she was not famous and so nobody copied his/her Pots but when the Old Potter became famous as an Old Master or Old Famous Potter then Old Copies or even forgeries appeared. This is the fool-proof way of authenticating Pot No:249 because in our thousands of Pots, there are no Early Kangxi Copies and copies or forgeries only started later in Yongzheng, Qian Long, Jiajing and Daoguang.
