NO WONDER FOR OVER TEN YEARS, OLD ZISHA HU EXPERTS ARE TELLING US POT NO:50 IS A REAL SHI DABIN BUT TONY REN REFUSED TO ACCEPT UNTIL………………………………….?
Sometimes when a person is too honest, he or she can prevent justice being done to a very valuable piece of Zisha Hu history. Being honest is not necessarily being truthful, or so Tony Ren found out.
Tony Ren visited Semarang, Indonesia recently to prepare for next year’s exclusive exhibition for professors and PHD researchers from universities, curators from museums, auction houses arts experts, foreign culture and arts department state officials, foreign Ambassadors, newspapers journalists, etc.from all over the world. The visit was mundane and unexciting, boring work if you prefer, for Tony Ren, the manager of Ren Fu Collection, who was used to seeing thousands of excavated Pre-Daoguang tea leaves, teapots and tea wares and other excavated cultural relics.
Yes unexciting until a new Indonesian worker, who does not know about the value of our teapots as we change workers constantly for security reasons and to prevent thefts, approached Lily to ask her what to do with a few oyster shells and a small piece of ceramic which she( the new Indonesian worker) found and thought should be thrown away to keep the corner of the warehouse, where the said oyster shells and small piece of ceramic were found(see picture), clean and tidy.(The new Indonesian worker does not know the warehouse which is full of dirty, unearthed teapots and tea wares, is like a gold mine even though the high grade Pots have been stored in bank safe deposit boxes).
Lily checked the number on the Inventory Sheets of Ren Fu Collection’s huge archaeological trove and it said Pot No:50 was excavated from Kangxi/Shunzhi grave but nothing else were found with the Pot No:50. Something was wrong and Lily searched other Pot No:50s?
Finally written in another huge lot of Pots and tea wares section, another excavated Pot No:50 with some oyster shells and a small piece of ceramic popped out of the Inventory Sheets of our huge archaeological trove. And not only the oyster shells and ceramic but we found the Late Ming gravestone epitaph and Pre-Disturbance Phase pictures of excavated grave including the surname of the woman who owned the Shi DaBin Pot and her origin which was not stated on the gravestone epitaph but by the oyster shells, we can confidently trace her origin in China.
My God, we did not know sitting in a corner of our warehouse of our huge archaeological trove was a Late Ming Shi Da Bin Zisha Pot which all this while was mistaken for an Early Qing Shi DaBin Zisha copy and Tony Ren was just following reason and what he thought was truth until now! Now we know we have made a mistake and mistakes are understandably common in such huge archaeological trove.( The only other archaeological trove found in the world is the 29 archaeologically excavated Zisha Pots found in mainland China which pale in comparison to Ren Fu Collection’s thousands of Pots)
So Ladies and Gentlemen, you Old Zisha Hu experts are right and Tony Ren was wrong and therefore we will correct our mistake.
To another story to update you good people, especially mainland Chinese: great news, the famous Professor Yan Li-Ren of Xiamen University has concurred with our research findings and even went as far as to say that Ren Fu Collection’s huge archaeological trove of Gong Fu tea wares and three great archaeological discoveries can speed up China’s application to have Gong Fu Tea included on UNESCO List of Intangible World Cultural Heritage. Great,great news for China, the Chinese and the world!!!
P/S…..Tony Ren can make mistakes sometime but rarely which is only human for if any human who say they do not make mistakes, they are lying. By the way, there is a couple of Taiwanese who are posting many dark, shiny and highly seasoned Zhuni Pots mixed with Fake Zhuni Pots. Why do some Taiwanese like to post Zhuni Pots that are dark, shiny and highly seasoned? Because like the Taiwanese scholar once said, “ When a genuine Old Pot is seasoned it looks like a Fake Pot: dark and shiny, so it’s very difficult to see”. But he omitted one thing, “ Yes, sometimes it’s hard to see but a Fake Zhuni Pot is in perfect condition but a genuine Old Zhuni Pot has imperfections or deteriorations if you use a magnifier”.

有时，当一个人过于诚实时，他会阻止对一段非常珍贵的紫砂壶历史进行公正审判。诚实并不一定是真实的，任汤尼发现了这一点。
任汤尼最近访问了印度尼西亚三宝垄，为明年的独家展览做准备，来自世界各地的大学教授和博士研究人员、博物馆馆长、拍卖行艺术专家、外国文化艺术部门国家官员、外国大使、报纸记者等。对于任富收藏馆的经理任汤尼（Tony Ren）来说，这次参观是一次平凡而乏味的工作，如果你愿意的话，那就是枯燥乏味的工作。

莉莉查看了任富收藏巨大考古宝藏清单上的数字，上面写着50号壶是从康熙/顺治墓发掘出来的，但没有发现50号壶的其他东西。出了什么问题，莉莉搜索了其他50号壶？
最后写在另一个巨大的壶和茶具部分，另一个挖掘出的壶编号：50号壶带有一些牡蛎壳和一小块陶瓷，从我们巨大的考古宝藏的清单中弹出。不仅是牡蛎壳和陶瓷，我们还发现了晚明墓碑墓志铭和扰动前阶段挖掘的坟墓照片，包括拥有石大斌壶的女性的姓氏和她的起源，这些都没有在墓碑墓志上注明，而是牡蛎壳，我们可以自信地追溯她在中国的起源。
我的天，我们不知道坐在我们仓库角落里的巨大考古宝藏是一个晚明时代的大彬紫砂壶，一直以来，它都被误认为是一个早清代的大彬紫砂壶老仿的，而任汤尼只是在遵循理性，直到现在，他都认为这是事实！现在我们知道我们犯了一个错误，可以理解，在如此巨大的考古宝藏中，错误是常见的。（世界上唯一发现的其他考古宝藏是在中国大陆发现的29件考古发掘的紫砂壶，与任富收藏的数千件壶相比，这些紫砂壶相形见绌。）
所以，女士们，先生们，你们这些老紫砂壶专家是对的，而任汤尼是错的，因此我们将纠正我们的错误。
另一个故事告诉你们好人，尤其是中国大陆人：好消息，厦门大学著名教授严利人（Yan Li Ren）赞同我们的研究结果，甚至说任富收藏的巨大的功夫茶具考古宝藏和三项伟大的考古发现可以加快中国将功夫茶列入联合国教科文组织非物质世界文化遗产名录的申请。对中国和世界来说，这是一个好消息！！！
P/S：任汤尼有时会犯错误，但很少犯错误，这是人类独有的，因为如果有人说自己不犯错误，那就是在撒谎。顺便说一句，有两个台湾人正在张贴许多深色、闪亮、高度调味的朱泥壶，其中混合了假朱泥壶。为什么有些台湾人喜欢贴上颜色深、有光泽、味道浓郁的朱泥壶？因为就像这位台湾学者曾经说过的，“当一个真正的老壶跑过茶时，它看起来就像一个假壶，又黑又亮，所以很难看到”。但他忽略了一件事，“是的，有时很难看到，但假朱泥壶的状况很好，但如果使用放大镜，真的老朱泥壶会有瑕疵或变质”。
