Xiamen University has produced famous and sometimes great professors. One of the famous and soon-to-be-great Professor is Yan Li-Ren, a very honest and truthful professor who has worked very hard for many, many years to try to find Gong Fu Tea.
When we informed Professor Yan Li-Ren recently that Ren Fu Collection has found Gong Fu Tea based on archaeological proofs by sending him Ren Fu Collection’s book, “ Saving Old Purple-Sand Clay Teapots”, a letter from the Malaysian Ambassador to the United States of America, 9 pages of our condensed archaeological findings and 50 pictures of Pre-Disturbance Pots and tea wares inside tombs and graves, he was ecstatic, excited and very, very happy and of course very, very grateful we informed him first.
Professor Yan Li-Ren immediately sent us two e-mails in reply. The first e-mail said Ren Fu Collection’s archaeological trove of Gong Fu tea wares will help speed up China’s application to have Gong Fu Tea included in UNESCO’s List of Intangible Cultural Heritage. The second e-mail said something about President Xi Zi Ping’s hope of having Gong Fu Tea listed in UNESCO’s List of Intangible World Cultural Heritage which will strengthen China’s cultural self-confidence.
